SPFL Over Under Bet

The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) is the top men's soccer league in Scotland. The SPFL was formed in June 2013 after the merger of the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Football League.

The SPFL operates the top four levels of the Scottish football league system (Scottish Premiership, Scottish Championship, Scottish League One and Scottish League Two) and the two Scottish cup competitions - the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Challenge Cup.

The Scottish Premiership is composed of 12 teams while the Scottish Championship, Scottish League One and Scottish League Two are composed of 10 teams each.

An SPFL season usually runs from August to April. Each Scottish Premiership team plays the other eleven teams three times. After 33 rounds, the league splits into two sections, a top six and a bottom six, with each team playing all the other teams in their section once.

The league attempts to balance the fixture list so that teams in the same section have played each other twice at home and twice away. An SPFL season features a total of 228 matches (38 matches per team).

In SPFL over under betting, you are wagering that the number of goals would either be over or under a given total. SPFL over under bets look like:

In the example above, "Over 2.5" is the favorite (indicated by the "-" sign). Betting $121 on "Over 2.5" goals wins you $100 if the match's total score reaches 3 or more.

Meanwhile, "Under 2.5" is the underdog (indicated by the "+" sign). Betting $100 on "Under 2.5" goals wins you $101 if the game's total score is 2, 1 or 0.

In an over under SPFL bet, it does not matter which club wins the match. All that matters is the final score.
