The Peruvian Primera Division is the top professional soccer division in Peru. It is also known as Torneo Descentralizado de Fútbol Profesional (Professional Decentralized Football Tournament). The Peruvian Primera División is composed of 16 teams. A Season runs from February to December and is divided into two stages.
