Major League Soccer (MLS) is the highest men's professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. MLS is composed of 22 teams - 19 in the U.S. and three in Canada.
The MLS regular season runs from March to October, with each team playing a total of 34 games. The team with the best record is awarded the Supporters' Shield and is given a berth to the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Champions League.
The MLS postseason includes twelve teams competing in the MLS Cup Playoffs which runs from November to December, culminating in the championship game, the MLS Cup.
MLS teams also play in other domestic competitions against teams from other divisions in the U.S. Open Cup and in the Canadian Championship.
In MLS over under betting, you are wagering that the total number of goals would either be over or under a particular number. MLS over under bets look like:

In the example above, betting $110 on "Over 2.5" goals wins you $100 if the game's total score reaches 3 goals or higher. Meanwhile, betting $114 on "Under 2.5" goals wins you $100 if the game's total score is 2 goals or less.
Unlike basketball or football where the over under line varies from game to game, many MLS over under bets are pegged at 2.5. This makes handicapping MLS games relatively easier than handicapping NBA or NFL games.
But winning MLS over under bets still require research. Check if key players (especially goal keepers, defenders or strikers) are unavailable from both sides. Strikers can either pad the score, while goal keepers and defenders can keep the score low, affecting your chances of winning the bet.
Also, see previous matchups. During the course of a season, MLS teams would meet multiple times. And some teams just simply play better and score more when playing a particular team. On the other hand, there are teams that can just as easily shutdown the opposing team.
